You can use this menu command to download a circuit program created with the LOGO!Soft Comfort from PC to the LOGO! Base Module. You can also use the button displayed in the standard toolbar for such purpose.

Preparations

Prior to the download, the system determines the minimum LOGO! version required for your circuit program. The modular LOGO! always provides all available I/O resources for your circuit program. It is up to you to install an appropriate number of expansion modules in the base device.

Download via Ethernet (0BA7 only)

For a download via Ethernet, a dialog of "Configure IP address" shown as follows pops up if you configured to confirm the IP address before the communication:

The LOGO!Soft Comfort remembers the IP address you used last time. You can click "Select" button to show "Select IP address" dialog and select another IP address:

Within this dialog, you can detect, add, delete or edit an IP address. For further information about this dialog, refer to "Tools -> Options: Interface".

If you want to have a copy of the circuit program to SD card, you can select "Copy to SD card" check box in the "Configure IP address" dialog.

Error messages

When you failed to download your circuit program to the LOGO! Base Module, If the circuit program cannot be downloaded to the available LOGO!, the transfer is aborted and an error message is displayed. The user is informed of unknown LOGO! versions and then has the choice of continuing or cancelling the download. A message in the status bar reports the successful download.

Transfer messages are displayed in the status bar and in the Info Window.

Detailed error messages are displayed in the Info Window.

Password

If you have assigned a password to your circuit program, then you will be asked to enter this password before you transfer to LOGO!. The circuit program will then only be transferred to LOGO! if you have entered the correct password.

This menu command is inactive in the UDF Editor.
